Just Green Enough: New Book

This exciting collection has just become available! Win Curran and Trina Hamilton have brought together scholars of environmental gentrification to explore the idea of “just green enough.” Just green enough means a model of environmental clean up and enhancements that preserves blue collar jobs and respects the rights of community members to stay put after clean up.

Cover of the book entitled Just Green Enough.

My chapter, “Mobilizing community identity to imagine just green enough futures: A Chicago case study,” looks at Pilsen and Little Village as neighbourhoods fighting to articulate their own “just green enough” visions. This is the first publication from my Chicago research!
